This class is designed for 12 to 16 years old junior drivers interested in learning to drive stock cars. All of the cars are built identically, except for color schemes, to make it fair for all the drivers to be competitive. This also keeps the cost affordable.

The engines are putting out 280 horsepower at the rear wheels and can reach speeds in excess of 70 miles an hour on the one third mile oval track. All of the cars are equipped with AIM data loggers and video cameras. This enables the drivers and their experienced driver coaches to see their data and video after each on-track session. They can compare with other drivers their data and their driving line, but also braking and acceleration points.

The program includes exclusive Spec Junior late model practice sessions on Saturday from 9AM to noon, Plus 2 or 3 Fifteen minute practice sessions and qualifying in the afternoon. In the evening there will be a 25 or 35 lap race. There are 9 races scheduled at Kevin Harvick's Kern County Raceway for 2025.

This program will also include a spotter, a crew to work with you at the track and an experienced individual that reviews all of the data recorded to help you improve and gain knowledge.
